Publishing ranks among the key activities of Sofia University Center for Excellence in the Humanities “Alma Mater”. It includes all the monographic research as well as the numerous academic materials related to the organization of the conferences and other academic events.
To improve the quality of the publications and to better coordinate its overall activity a Publishing Council has been set up in 2012 to function at Sofia University Center for Excellence in the Humanities “Alma Mater” as a special unit with a clearly defined mandate. Chaired by associate professor Maria Deenichina, PhD, the Council members include also professor Evgenia Kalinova, the associate professors Nikolay Chernokozhev and Detelina Mets and senior assistant professor Gergana Aleksieva.
